WhatsApp has improved a lot about security and it has been using chat encryption for a long time, which prevents any attackers from intercepting messages exchanged through the platform.
However, there are still several ways to find out about a person’s habits through WhatsApp: If you are private guy, one of the first things you can do is to disable the last access.
How to hide the last access into WhatsApp
Hiding the last access from WhatsApp is simple: the first thing to do is of course, open the Settings (by clicking the three dots on the top right if you are using Android, or on the last tab with the iPhone).
Once in Settings, click Accounts, then Privacy.
Here you will find several menus, useful to hide your information to other users: what’s most important to us, Last Access, is the first entry: just click on and, from the popup menu appearing, select None.
Before you disable Last Access sharing, remember that the operation is reciprocal, and so you will not be able to see the last time a contact was connected.
Also, always from the Privacy menu, you can manage Profile, Info and Status sharing options, just like the last access, even this information can be shared with everyone, with anyone or just with your contacts.
If you are a private person, it might be a good idea to select My Contacts so that they do not show the name, status, and profile image to any strangers.
How to spy WhatsApp on Android
However, despite what has been said so far to hide the last access, by the very nature of the application, you can always spy using WhatsApp by Android, track every time you started the software and even receive a notification when a user connects.
As you probably know, WhatsApp always tells you when the contact you are writing to is online, even if they chose to hide the last access: for this reason, you can “spy” the accesses of any WhatsApp contact by just knowing the number.
The feature that shows when someone is Online, that can not be changed in any way, makes some apps capable of spying users accesses: one of these is WhatsAgent.
This is an Android application running remotely (without any need to touch the victim’s phone) and does exactly what it said so far: once started, it lets you enter one (or two) numbers to keep track of, and send a notification when the person connects.
Once the app has been started for the first time, after accepting the terms of agreement, the app will directly ask you to enter the name and number of the person you want to “spy”.
Then, WhatsAgent will keep track of every time the contact comes online.
WhatsAgent is free for a limited period of time but to keep using the service you need to pay $9,9 per month or $5,95 per week.
In addition, for subscribers, you can also use another feature, which undoubtedly represents the most creepy of all: by clicking on “Compare Activity” button, in fact, you can add a second number to keep track of, and see graphs that compare the activities of two users.
This system, of course, was designed to understand when two users are chatting and, with a little fancy, to see if the contact we want to “spy” has a relationship with another person.
In the end…
As I told you and as you have understood, spying someone on WhatsApp is too easy. You may check Growthoid’s list of WhatsApp hacking apps to spy on anybody.
What I suggest you is to avoid this kind of things because human relationships have just to be based on mutual trust and these sabotages, do not solve anything, they are just intended to waste useful money.
If you have to talk and solve some problems with someone, just talk to him!
