Elephone is a Chinese brand known popularly for its decent products at warm and friendly prices. Elephone A4 is one such device recently launched by this brand. From the first look this smartphone appears to be a clone of iPhone X at a very friendly price. In spite of such a low price, there is no compromise in the quality and performance of A4. Now, let’s get on to the in-depth review of this classy looking smartphone.

As I said above, its design is copied from iPhone X. The phone has a compact design and also feels comfortable in hands. It weighs about 189 grams and has around 7.87 mm thickness. It is available in two colors, black and gold.
The display is stretched to whole surface in the front, with a small bezel without navigation keys at the bottom and a top notch where selfie camera, earpiece and sensors are placed. The side bezels of this phone are rarely visible, giving it a classy look.
Fingerprint sensor is mounted on the right side of this smartphone instead of the rear side. When we flip it we see a rear camera and a dual LED flash at top left in a vertical position, which also resembles iPhone X. A micro USB 2.0 interface rests at the bottom side of the device.
Elephone A4 sports a 5.85 inch display with 1440*720 pixels resolution with 275ppi pixel density in 18:9 aspect ratio. The display is made from IPS technology which offers good viewing angles. As far as the processor is concerned, it comes with MediaTek MT6739. It is successor of MediaTek MT6737 which is currently most popular in the low budget phones. The quad cores of the processor clocks at a frequency of 1.5GHz. For handling high demanding games, UI, video playback etc. this phone is equipped with PowerVR GE8100 GPU.
The SoC comes integrated with 3GB RAM which is good enough for smooth multi-tasking. RAM is LPDDR3 type and has a frequency of 677MHz. Internal memory of this device is 16 GB which seems low but you can expand it upto 128GB by using microSD card.
Elephone A4 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo system, which makes it fast and opens the world of Google Play Services for its users. This OS lines it in the list of smartphones using Oreo at such a low cost.

Elephone A4 can surely not match the level of iPhone X but you get some remarkable features at a 9 times less price of an iPhone. It has very elegant and classy looks and a metal-glass body at such a low-budget. Moreover, you are getting a good processor and latest OS with 3GB RAM which seems pretty impressive. The internal storage seems less but you get an option to expand it through external card. Overall, it is a full value for money and is worth buying for people who are looking for a classy and budget smartphone with great performance.
