Ulefone Power 5 Smartphone Review

Appearance & Design:-

Ulefone Power 5 Design Review

Ulefone Power 5 looks stylish with a metal body combined with leather finish. It has a hexagon like shape as the corners of this device are slightly angled. It is 15.8mm thick and weighs around 290gm which seems bit heavy. You get two color options here, Black and Gold.

As its body is covered by leather it gives a good grip when you hold it. At the rear side two cameras are placed vertically at top middle with a dual LED flash lying beside the primary camera. When we see left side we find fingerprint sensor, volume keys and a unique smart shortcut key. There are two small bezels at the top and bottom in the front with display stretching up to 90.8% of the front area. The top bezel houses dual selfie cameras, earpiece and sensors while the bottom bezel is devoid of navigation keys. Overall, it looks quite good but its big size and heavy built can be a problem for some people.

It is Splash-proof but not completely Water-resistant

Display:-

Ulefone Power 5 display

Power 5 boasts a pretty impressive and stunning display. It follows the current trend of 18:9 bezel-less display stretching almost entire front of the device. The 6.0 inch AUO display of this phone boasts a 2160 x 1080 pixels FHD+ resolution at a 402 ppi pixel density. It will for sure offer its users an immersive sharp and clear visuals.

Hardware & Software:-

This device is equipped with MediaTek Helio P23 MT6763 chip with an Octa-core processor clocking at 1.5GHz speed. For handling graphics section it has Mali-G71 GPU which clocks at 700MHz. Here you get a massive 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with a speed of 1600MHz. With all the above features combined this device will offer you a faster, smoother and lag free experience.

For storing your media, games and apps you get here 64GB storage which can be expanded up to 256GB with an external card. But for extra storage you have to sacrifice a SIM card which can be a con for some.

Overall the Hardware part of this device is a Big Thumbs Up!!

It runs on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo, which is a big thumbs up again!. Oreo is faster, smarter as well as it manages battery very efficiently, all this with a simpler UI.

Camera:-

Power 5 has got quad cameras, which I can say are not the best but still are pretty good at such price. The Sony 21MP IMX230 main camera is combined with a 5MP secondry camera at the rear side. The two cameras together produces blur effects very well just like a DSLR camera. The primary camera has f/1.8 aperture and a multitude of features for fulfilling your all photography needs. The rear camera setup is combined with a dual-LED flash as well.

For the selfie lovers this phone offers dual front cameras as well. The 8MP primary front camera combined with 5MP secondry camera generates bright and beautiful selfies.

Sensors:-

For ensuring safety of your device, Power 5 supports fingerprint ID as well as face ID. Both this features are highly responsive and unlocks your phone in just 0.1s. For accurate facial recognition the device uses 128 dots on your face so you can unlock phone easily.

Other sensors include Proximity, Light, Accelerometer, Compass and Gyroscope making your device more fun to use.

Battery:-

The biggest selling point of this device is its massive 13000mAh battery. Yes, you read that right once you charge this smartphone you are good to go for a whole week!!.  Moreover, it adapts 5V/5A quick charge and also supports wireless charging for hassle-free charging. And don’t worry your phone will not heat up while charging as the fast charging technology relies on larger currents instead of larger voltages.

Aside from offering you a lot of energy the 13000mAh battery of this phone can also serve as Power Bank for your devices

Networks & Connectivity:-

Power 5 supports many LTE bands and dual SIM cards, so you can use it anywhere in the world. For connectivity it has USB 2.0 Type-C interface, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS, GLONASS for tracking or positioning purposes.
