Xiaomi smartphones comprise of Mi series, Mi Note series, Mi MAX series, Mi MIX series, and Redmi series. Among this Redmi series is known for its feature-rich smartphones at aggressive pricing while Mi series comprises of mid-range and high-end flagship smartphones. Xiaomi expands this lineup every year and this year is no different. Below we have compiled a list of upcoming Xiaomi smartphones with expected release date and price. The specifications of some of these phones are confirmed while some are rumored but we will update it as soon as everything gets official.

1#  Xiaomi Mi Max 4 Series

The Mi Max lineup from Xiaomi includes smartphones which can be called phablets in true sense. The first phablet of this series Mi Max was launched in 2016 which was followed by Mi Max 2 and Mi Max 3 in the years 2017 and 1018 respectively. By seeing this trend we can say that the next smartphone from this lineup Mi Max 4 & Mi Max 4 Pro is around the corner. Max4/Max4 Pro may have a bigger display than Max 3 which can be around 7.2 inches. These phablets will run on Android Pie topped with MIUI 11.

It is rumored that Max 4 Series phones will feature 48MP Sony sensor for the primary camera and 13MP selfie cam for Max 4 and 20MP for Max 4 Pro. They may also get an in-display fingerprint sensor.

They are likely to have a mid-range processor, Max 4 may feature Snapdragon 660 SoC and Max 4 Pro might have Snapdragon 675 SoC. Comparing to Max 3’s 4GB and 6GB variants Max 4 can get a 6GB and 4/6 GB variants, while Max 4 Pro can come in 6/8 GB and 6GB options. Max 3 had 5,500mAh battery so we can expect Max 4 series to have a bigger battery of 5,800mAh capacity. Max 4 will be priced around $240 and for Max 4 Pro you have to spend some more bucks. Max 4 is likely to launch in June 2019 and Max 4 Pro can come in late 2019.

2# Redmi 7A

Xiaomi officially unveiled its next entry-level smartphone Redmi 7A which will replace Redmi 6A. It will hit the Chinese market on June 6 and is likely to launch globally in a month or two. The phone has got a 5.45-inch HD+ display and a 5MP selfie snapper. It has got a 13MP primary sensor with LED flash.

The device gets its power from Snapdragon 439 chipset and is available in two storage options, 16 GB and 32GB.

It runs on Android Pie topped with MIUI 10. It supports two SIM slots including one hybrid slot. It has got a 4,000mAh battery with 10W fast charging which is a great advantage over Redmi 6A. It features 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.0 and Dual 4G VoLTE for connectivity.

It comes in Blue and Black color options and is priced just $80 for 16GB and $86 for 32GB variant.

Xiaomi’s Mi A series which is popular for its Android One software which puts stock Android on the device will have two new additions this year namely Mi A3 and Mi A3 Lite. Both of these are powerful mid-range devices and could have Qualcomm Snapdragon 700-series SoC’s. It is tipped that Mi A3 will come as Mi 7X in China. Xiaomi Mi A1 was powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC while Mi A2 with Snapdragon 660 Soc which is typically for mid-range devices.

Snapdragon 700-series is more premium so we can expect a hike in the price of these devices. Mi A3 and Mi A3 Lite are expected to launch in the second half of this year. We expect them to have Snapdragon 710 or Snapdragon 712 system on a chip.

4# Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2

The Redmi lineup from Xiaomi is known for its budget-friendly smartphones but it has experimented with Redmi Pro 2. It will be the first Snapdragon 855 powered Redmi phone. It has a 6.39-inch full HD+ display with 403ppi pixel density. Redmi Pro 2 will run on Android 9.0 Pie and will have 4GB RAM for smooth multi-tasking. There is also An Adreno 640 GPU for handling graphics section. The smartphone has a great camera section with a 20MP selfie snapper and 48MP + 8MP + 5MP primary camera setup.

It will come with 64GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB. Redmi Pro 2 will be fueled by a non-removable 3,600mAh lithium polymer battery. This smartphone is expected to launch in June 2019 and may come at a little pricier side compared to other Redmi phones.

5# Mi Mix 4

Mi Mix 4 could be the flagship smartphone from Xiaomi with Snapdragon 855 chipset. The phone could come with a triple-rear camera, wireless charging, NFC and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Mi Mix 4 is rumored to have a single selfie camera unlike Mi Mix 3’s dual selfie snappers. Earlier Mi Mix 3 came with Snapdragon 845 SoC along with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage so we can expect a bit upgrade in this segment.

Mi Mix 3 was backed by 3200mAh battery so a bigger battery is expected for Mi Mix 4. Currently, the phone is under development and it could launch later this year.

6# Xiaomi Mi 9T (Launched)

Xiaomi has officially announced one more addition to Mi 9 series of smartphones which were debuted in China back in February. Its specifications and release date are not confirmed but we expect it to launch very soon. The official image hints at a full-screen display and a pop-up selfie camera.

The official poster also showed a triple rear-camera setup. Also, it will feature a gradient finish back and at front, it has got a curved edge display panel. There could be some hardware changes as well to distinguish it from Mi 9, MI 9 SE and Mi 9 Transparent Edition.

7# Xiaomi Mix Flex Foldable Phone

Earlier in March Xiaomi released a video teasing its foldable phone and also spoken about it officially. This phone will give a tough competition to Samsung Galaxy Fold and Huawei  Mate X. This phone is expected to price around $999 which is nearly half of the above-mentioned phones.

The phone is currently referred as Mi Flex or Mi Fold and will sport an OLED display by Visionox which attributes to its low cost.

The phone is expected to get a Snapdragon 855 SoC paired with 10GB of RAM. Xiaomi stated about its double folding design and a new evolved MIUI to suit the form factor. It is expected to launch by the end of 2019.
