Samsung has now officially released Galaxy Tab S4 which is an upgrade to its previous Galaxy Tab S3. It has refreshed design and some innovative features that will boost the Android tablet market. It sports a 10.5 inch Super AMOLED display with 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution.

Galaxy Tab 4 is equipped with Snapdragon 835 chip paired with 4GB of RAM. It runs on latest Android 8.1 Oreo which is very power efficient. It has four AKG speakers, one in each corner which promises louder sound and in addition Dolby Atmos Sound brings 3D sound.

It is available in two storage options 64GB and 256GB which can be expanded up to 400GB with a MicroSD card. This tablet has got a massive 7300mAh battery which offers 16 hours of video playback which is pretty impressive. Also it can be charged quickly with Samsung’s fast charging. It features dual cameras as well, a 13MP shooter at back combined with a 8MP front snapper.

The most interesting software change is the addition of Samsung Dex, which is Samsung’s Android Desktop interface which automatically triggers when you attach a keyboard to it. Samsung has promised that this version of Dex will bring a true desktop experience supporting 20 windows, drag-and-w resizing, Bluetooth mice and even right-click functionality.

The Galaxy Tab 4 will come with an optional magnetic keyboard which will cost $150 extra, while all Tab’s will include an S Pen stylus whose price will be included in cost. The prices will start at $650 for the 64GB variant while 256GB model may cost $750. Both the Wi-Fi and LTE models are set to release on August 10th in the US. The Wi-Fi model will be available from Samsung, Best Buy and Amazon while the LTE version will be exclusive to Verizon. Samsung has also confirmed that LTE models for other networks will be coming in third quarter of the year which will include US Cellular, AT&T and Sprint.
