It has been one of the biggest fails in Samsung and they tried to retrieve all the devices from the users, giving them the option to send it back and being refunded.
There’s still those who insist, despite everything, to use your Galaxy Note 7 (some have even made “forum dedicated to the resistance”), but Samsung intends to break the last dissidents with a future software update, which will prevent all the smartphone charging.
The only way to use Galaxy Note 7 will become basically keep it permanently plugged, which is not exactly a desirable scenario for a smartphone.
It is not clear in which markets should arrive this update, although the Korean sources suggest us that most of them will get it.
