Last year in November Razer launched it’s first phone which was advertised as perfect smartphone for gamers. Today Razer’s VP Chen Xiaoping announced that company may launch a new Razer device by end of this year in China during the ChinaJoy 2018 expo. He also added that the device will adopt Qualcomm’s latest chipset which will probably be Snapdragon 845 or Snapdragon 855 which is also set to launch in December.
The Razer phone had thick top and bottom bezels as it was armed with two stereo speakers and a miniature amplifier at front, we can expect thinner bezels in Razer Phone 2 without compromising the sound quality. It may also have at least 8GB of RAM and will retain its 120Hz screen as well.
As far as the price is concerned we can expect it to be priced around $600-$650 which is in the similar price range of its competitors. Razer Phone 2 will surely give a tough competition to Xiaomi’s Black Shark and Nubia Red Devil which are currently ruling China’s gaming smartphone market.
