‘Finow’ a German smartwatch based company has recently unveiled its latest budget 2017 smartwatch, a much improved from its predecessors. The UI on the latest Q7 Plus is smooth as butter and the premium looks takes it all the way around.

The Finow’s latest Q series Q7 is a great pick to go for offering a massive specification on a budget price segment beating Honor Z1 Fitness watch which lags a lot of functionality.

So here i am providing the detailed review on this stylish, intelligent Smartwatch. Before starting, lets have a look at the key specification of Finow Q7 Plus.

UNBOXING

With perfect packaging, at first comes the Finow Q7 Plus Smartwatch itself followed up by boxes where you find 1 USB cable with magnetic dock for charging the watch and a user manual as usual.

There is not much to talk about the unboxing, let’s jump ahead to its design !

DESIGN & DISPLAY

The Finow Q7 Plus comes with 20.80 × 4.60 × 1.40cm Oval Shape with Waterproof 1.3 IPS capacitive touchscreen with 240 × 240p display. The display is bright enough for direct sunlight which is idle for outdoor activities.

It has a great combination of colour management. Personally, I love the saturation and the level of contrast on the display.

It has a leather band to go round the wrist which is permanently attached to the main frame watch. It has two physical button on the right side where in between sits a 2.0 MP HD Camera. The design looks premium and there’s no way denying it.

HARDWARE

The Smartwatch comes with 8GB of internal storage which is expandable to 32GB via Micro SD card. It packs a 512MB of RAM which helps to run the application without any hiccups, with MTK6580 running on 1.3 GHz Quad-Core Processor.

It was quick and the touch was fine I would say, At sometimes my touch didn’t responded but it was rare, which is not so a problem at all.

SOFTWARE

Running on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box with custom company’s UI, the watch has 50 clock style for every individual swag and environment which is more than enough plus you can even add more. The software Run smoothly without any issue, they had done a great job on software department.

  • On the clock screen, swipe upward from the bottom, goes into App list.
  • On the clock screen, swipe downwards from top and the signal icons comes out. When signal icon appears swipe downward, the screen including voice and lightness comes out.
  • On the clock screen, swipe to the left into the function’s swipe menu.
  • On the home screen, swipe left to see different notifications.

CAMERA

In the budget segment smartwatches, You will rarely see a smartwatch with a camera feature. The Finow has done superb work in this field. They have provided a 2.0 MP camera in its budget smartwatch.Talking about the picture quality it is just an average but can come in handy.

BATTERY

It has a 450MAh non removable battery which last a day on a normal usage and on charging, it charges up quite fast too.

SENSORS

What is the use of a Smartwatch without sensors? And yes, it has all the important sensors for you to help you with every possible way. Accelerator, pedometer, gyroscope and Heart-rate sensor so that you can have update about your foot steps, calories burnt, distance, Heart-rate sensor and GPS .

CONNECTIVITY

The Smartwatch works on Single nano sim which supports 2G (GSM) 850/900/1800/1900MHz, 3G (WCDMA) 850/2100MHz, Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi connectivity.
